Historical Monuments

The historic center of Sao Paulo is the location where the city was founded in 1554. This region has many buildings, which contain their own stories from history.  The Sé Cathedral as well as the Collegio do Pateo, the Municipal Theater, the Municipal Market and many more buildings are all located in this region.

Brazilian fruits are well-known for their exotic tastes which include the cashew and papaya fruit.  Some nuts are also very tasty such as cashew and Brazilian nuts all of which can be found at the Municipal Market.  Cod fish pasties are a snack that is typical of Sao Paulo and for this reason it is worth trying one.
