Embu das Artes

This is a charming city located about 30 km from Sao Paulo. It was founded by Jesuit priests and inhabited by Tupiniquins Indians. It is currently home to an art and artisanal fair that is open during the weekends and it takes up the main roads in the historic center.  There is live music in practically all the restaurants which close at night in the city of art.
